Deluxe Space Man Vintage Style Modulated Delay - LIMITED RUN/SMALL BATCH
The Deluxe Space Man is an original design delay based on the vintage and highly coveted Deluxe Memory Man. We took the original circuit, which is now extremely costly to produce due to the lack of availability of functional or genuine analog delay chips, and modernized it to not only greatly lower the cost by using a modern delay chip, but to allow for a much smaller footprint, a maintenance free circuit, true bypass switching, and universal pedalboard compatibility with an industry standard 2.1mm, negative center 9v power supply jack.
The Deluxe Space Man uses a modern PT2399 delay chip to create vintage, analog style delay and modulation. It features 10-600ms of delay time, 0-infinite repeats, Blend control, and level control. In addition to delay features, the Deluxe Space Man also features a full modulation section, providing Chorus and Vibrato. You can change modulation mode with the toggle switch, and dial in just the right amount of your chosen modulation with the modulation knob.
We set out to recreate an iconic delay with a modern touch, and we absolutely love the Deluxe Space Man for how it does that job perfectly. We know you will too! We firmly believe that amazing delay tones from handwired, USA-made pedals should be attainable for all musicians, and shouldn’t require a degree in computer science to operate either, and the Deluxe Space Man is a testament to that belief.
The Deluxe Space Man, like all of our pedals, is entirely handwired. We cut every circuit board, place every wire, and solder every component by hand. Due to the complexity of this circuit in particular, we’re releasing it on a more limited basis, with small batches. We want to keep this delay available as much as possible, and by releasing in limited batches we’ll be able to. We’ll keep this listing updated with current batch information and availability. As with all limited run pedals, please allow up to a week ship time on Deluxe Space Man orders, but know we build them as fast as we can, and ship in the order they’re received.
Each Deluxe Space Man is labeled and hand-numbered internally to reflect its batch and number from that batch. Each unit is also signed by our builders and is hand-calibrated before being shipped.
